Detroit Lions defensive end Aidan Hutchinson says he’s not paying much attention to his contract situation. Hutchinson’s representatives are negotiating a possible extension with the Lions. Hutchinson is focusing on returning to the field after he was sidelined for 13 games last season with a broken leg. That stretch included the Lions’ home playoff loss to the Washington Commanders. Hutchinson was cleared medically in May and hasn’t suffered any setbacks during training camp.
He has not played during the preseason and that isn’t expected to change when the Lions host the Houston Texans on Saturday.
