The Standard-Speaker is continuing a presentation of its top high school players football over the past 25 years. Honorees from the eight current teams in the newspaper’s coverage area – Hazleton Area, Crestwood, Marian, Tamaqua, Panther Valley, Mahanoy Area, Shenandoah Valley and North Schuylkill – were considered, as were players from now defunct Bishop Hafey and Cardinal Brennan.
