Prosecutors say a man suspected of firing a gun into the ABC affiliate’s office in Sacramento, California, last week was politically motivated and had written notes critical of Donald Trump’s administration and had a calendar reminder to himself to “do the next scary thing.” Nobody was hurt in the shooting Friday outside the studios of ABC10 near downtown. Local authorities arrested a 64-year-old man on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. He was released on $200,000 bail and then re-arrested by the FBI. His attorney says he will plead not guilty in both the state and federal cases.
