This 1969 Datsun 510 station wagon was fitted with a turbocharged 2.0-liter SR20DET inline-four and a five-speed manual transmission circa 2011 before being acquired by the seller in 2013. A repaint, an interior re-trim, and further modifications were performed as part of a build completed over the next year. It went on to be cast in Richard Linklater’s 2016 movie, Everybody Wants Some!! Finished in red, the car rides on 15″ snowflake wheels and is equipped with Datsun 280Z–spec front coilovers as well as a Nissan C10–sourced rear axle. Inside, custom gray and red upholstery is accompanied by a Grant steering wheel as well as Speedhut auxiliary gauges. The engine is fitted with a Garrett GT2860RS turbocharger, a front-mount intercooler, and a custom exhaust setup and is managed by an AEM Infinity ECU.
This modified 510 wagon is now offered with spare parts and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
