Denver Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain II allowed seven completions in a 29-28 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. This ties the most catches he’s allowed in an NFL game, according to Pro Football Focus. Surtain credited Colts QB Daniel Jones for pinpoint throws and vowed to shore up his technique. Broncos coach Sean Payton doesn’t believe the Colts specifically targeted Surtain. Surtain is the reigning AP defensive player of the year.
