After being seen out on a “intimate” date night in New York City, Trevor Noah and Dua Lipa have sparked romance speculations.
At Miss Lily’s Jamaican Restaurant in the East Village on Wednesday, the couple was photographed dining together in a corner booth. They ate between between 9 and 11 p.m., according to an eyewitness, and then parted ways with a kiss and a hug on the sidewalk before getting into their separate automobiles.
“They sat next to each other. They seemed very into each other, leaning in over the table, sharing food, and enjoying their conversation. Not surprisingly, he had her laughing a few times too!” the eyewitness says.
“After dinner they stepped outside the restaurant and before leaving each other, they shared a kiss,” the eyewitness continues. “They were in their own little world.”
The Daily Show presenter, 38, and pop sensation, 27, both wore casual attire for the date.
The following day, Noah went on television to announce that he was leaving his lengthy tenure as the host of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show and that he was going through a professional divorce. Since replacing Jon Stewart as the show’s desk host in 2015, he has been in that position.
Noah’s most recent romantic relationship was with Euphoria actress Minka Kelly. After two years together, the ex-couple reportedly called it quits in May. Noah is currently using the dating app Raya, according to ET.
In contrast, Lipa called it quits on her own two-year union with Anwar Hadid in December 2021. She stated that “the next phase of my life is about actually becoming good with being alone” in the June/July 2022 issue of Vogue.
Even farther, the “Levitating” singer recorded herself going out on dates by herself. “I want to know I can just be there for myself, you know,” she said.
